Our rate for one hour of individual or couples therapy session is $195.

In-Network Insurance

We are currently in-network for most plans with BlueCross BlueShield PPO and Baylor Scott & White Health Plans.

Out of Network Insurance

If your insurance is not in-network with Alchemy Therapy, there may be options for out-of-network reimbursement through your insurance carrier available to you. Depending on your plan, you may have benefits that may cover portions or all of therapy sessions. Upon request, we are able to provide you with documentation so that you can create a claim for out of network reimbursement with your insurance plan. You may consider asking your insurance the following questions to understand what out of network benefits are available to you through your plan:

• I am seeking information on my mental health benefits for outpatient individual psychotherapy in an office setting, CPT code 90837. Does my plan cover out network providers for this service? If so, what is the coverage and my patient responsibility? Is telehealth covered the same or differently?

• My therapist charges $195. Is this within the Allowed Amount or UCR (Usual, Customary, and Reasonable Fee) for an Out-of-Network Provider?  If not, what is the Allowed Amount? 

• Is pre-authorization required?

• Are there any limits to the number of sessions per year?

• How do I submit superbills to the plan for reimbursement?
